What is a web collection? It’s a collage of things you find on the internet such as articles, pictures, movies, ect..

Startup Buru lets you put all those web nick nacks together in one place and share them with friends or groups as web collections. Buru also has a search feature so you can browse collections of other users and see what things they put in their basket for any given term.

Buru has just released a Firefox plugin so that you can add items to your Buru collection from your browser. Buru also has a plugin for Internet Explorer. This is much like a shopping cart feature where you add items then check out your collection when you are finished.

The only sticking point I found was that the servers were a bit slow when searching. The website is currently in public beta.
